Indonesia Launches Investor Relations Unit
The government of Indonesia, in cooperation with the Institute's Sovereign Investor Relations Advisory Service (SIRAS), has launched an Investor Relations Unit (IRU). The IRU is a coordinated effort by relevant government agencies, including but not limited to Bank Indonesia, the Ministry of Finance, and the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs to facilitate communication with the market. The IRU has been established to serve as a single point of contact for investors, analysts, and other market participants that are interested in Indonesia. Sections of the website will be further developed over the next few months and links will be posted as they are made available.
Indonesian authorities plan to disseminate regular emails providing economic data and policy information as well as announcements of upcoming events such as investor roadshows and conference calls. Investors interested in subscribing to the Indonesia investor contact list may send their contact details in an email to sirasinfo@iif.com.
To contact the IRU directly please email Mr. Peter Jacobs, Senior Economic Analyst, Bank Indonesia, or Ms. G.A Diah Utari, Economic Analyst, Bank Indonesia. Read Press Release.
