In this week’s presentation, Sonja Gibbs, Director of the IIF’s Capital Markets and Emerging Markets Policy Department, reviews the November Capital Markets Monitor and market reactions to growing uncertainty, including with regard to the U.S. “fiscal cliff” and global growth prospects more generally. She also highlights the Institute’s recent activities, including the IIF’s Inaugural African Financial Summit in Cape Town and a speech by the IIF Managing Director in Athens, and looks forward to next week’s meeting of Eurogroup finance ministers.
