The 2009 IIF Annual Meeting of Latin American Chief Executives will be hosted by Banco de Crédito del Perú, in Lima, Peru on March 23-25.

The program will comprise discussions with experts and keynote speakers addressing topics designed to be of central importance for top executives of Latin American financial institutions. Ample time will be left for participants to discuss the key issues of concern to the region's financial leaders. Lima is a financial and industrial center, but also a lovely city with a rich culture and history, both colonial and modern architecture, and many museums. Participants are encouraged to bring their spouse or a guest to this event, which will offer an opportunity to relax, socialize, and enjoy the beauty of the city.

The three-day meeting will start on Monday, March 23, with a dinner, followed by a keynote address. It will continue on Tuesday with a full day of discussions, lunch, and a banquet dinner. On Wednesday, a half day of panels will be conducted and our program will conclude with an informal lunch. The program will include discussions of: the implications of the global financial crisis for countries in the region, banking industry consolidation, the effect of the global slowdown on Asia/China and the implications for Latin America, and regulatory issues. A special program for spouses and guests will be held during the day on Tuesday.
