The 2012 IIF Spring Membership Meeting will take place at the Tivoli Congress Center in Copenhagen, Denmark, June 6-8.

Who may register for the 2012 IIF Spring Membership Meeting?


If you received an invitation to the 2012 IIF Spring Membership Meeting or if your firm is a member of the IIF, you may register for the event. Non-member registrations are assessed on a case-by-case basis. Please note that space constraints require us to limit the number of non-members admitted to the meeting.

How do I register for the 2012 IIF Spring Membership Meeting?


Pre-registration for this event is now closed. IIF members and invited guests should contact meetings@iif.com for further information regarding event registration.

How do I know that my registration is confirmed?


Within five (5) business days of submitting your registration, you will receive an e-mail confirming your registration and providing you with additional details regarding the event.

Is a photo required for registration?


Yes. Your registration is not complete without a passport size, color photo in JPEG format. Please e-mail your photo to photos@iif.com before May 16, 2012.

When will I receive the Program Agenda?

Is there a list of all registered participants for the 2012 IIF Spring Membership Meeting?


We do not share information regarding registered participants as that information is confidential and continues to change throughout the registration period. However, a list of participants will be available during the meeting in Copenhagen.

I need a visa to travel to the meeting. How do I obtain a visa?


All inquiries regarding visa requirements should be directed to your local consulate or travel agent; please ensure that you apply for your visa at your earliest convenience should you require one.

How can the IIF help with the visa process?


The IIF can only issue an official invitation letter which could be used in the visa application process. The IIF is unable to intervene on behalf of meeting participants in the visa process.

How do I register my spouse or guest for the meeting?


Spouses and guests are welcome to join us for the meeting and meals. To register a spouse or guest, please include the person’s name on your registration form and mark the appropriate events that your spouse/guest plans to attend.

Please note that we require that you send us a passport size, color photo in JPEG format of your spouse/guest to photos@iif.com. Spouses/guests will not have access to the meeting venue without an IIF-issued photo ID badge.

Is there a spouse/guest tour program?


Yes, there is a spouse/guest tour program planned for Copenhagen. If your spouse/guest plans to participate in the tour, please indicate that information on your registration form. Further details regarding the spouse/guest tour program will be available on our website closer to the event. Please note that priority for the tour is given to members and their spouses/guests. Non-members and their guests will be accommodated as space permits.

How do I make a hotel reservation?


We recommend that you book your accommodations as soon as possible. The high expected turnout for our event in addition to other major concurrent events in the city will likely put pressure on the availability of suitable hotels in Copenhagen, Denmark.

If you require assistance with hotel reservations, you may wish to contact BDP Congress, a local event company in Copenhagen. To make a reservation through BDP Congress, please click here. Rooms are subject to availability and are on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please note that participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements and hotel accommodations.

Will I be sent meeting materials ahead of the meeting in Copenhagen?


No. All meeting materials, including the IIF-issued photo ID badges, will be available for pick-up on site in Copenhagen.

May I collect registration materials on behalf of my delegation in Copenhagen?


Yes. If you would like to pick up the registration materials on behalf of your delegation or on behalf of another participant, please be prepared to present the registration confirmation number and a copy of a government-issued ID (passport, driver’s license) for each participant for whom you plan to collect registration materials.
The IIF cannot release registration materials to anyone other than the registered participant without presentation of the registration confirmation number and a copy of a government-issued photo ID.

What is the proper attire for the event?


Business attire is appropriate for all meeting sessions and meals, including the Tribute Dinner on Wednesday evening.

Does the IIF provide airport transportation?


No, the IIF does not provide airport transportation. Participants are responsible for their own travel and pick-up arrangements.

If I have special dietary needs, who should I contact?


If you have special dietary needs or are a vegetarian, please send us an e-mail at meetings@iif.com at your earliest convenience so that we may communicate that information to our caterers.
