As Mexico commences its Chairmanship of the G-20, we are planning a special event in Mexico City on February 24-25, 2012—a high-level public-private sector conference held just ahead of the first G-20 Ministerial meeting of the year. Organized in close partnership with the Mexican authorities, this event, “The G-20 Agenda under the Mexican Chairmanship,” has been designed to help launch their G-20 Presidency at the Ministerial level, providing a unique forum for dialogue with private-sector leaders on key G-20 agenda issues. Similar IIF events held in collaboration with the G-20 chairmanships of the U.K., Korea and France were attended by leading G-20 officials, members of the regulatory community, and senior bankers and investors and were very well received.
