2013 IIF Annual Meeting of Central and East European Bank Chief Executives

April 28, 2013 to April 30, 2013, Berlin, Germany

The 2013 Annual Meeting of Central and Eastern European Bank Chief Executives, hosted by Deutsche Bank AG, will take place on April 28-30 at Deutsche Bank’s office in Berlin.

The IIF CEE CEO Meeting is a special regional event held every year as part of the Institute’s efforts to strengthen relations with and among our members in the region. The event facilitates an ongoing and robust public-private sector dialogue and helps participants gain a better understanding of the challenges of operating in an increasingly globalized economy. Participants this year will discuss a range of topical issues relevant to banks and other financial firms active in the Central and East European region, with a focus on the impact of recent economic and regulatory developments as well as the evolving landscape for the Euro Area banking sector and financial markets.

This year’s conference will start with an opening dinner on the evening of Sunday, April 28. A full day of meetings on global and regional developments, the changing landscape for CEE banking and financial markets, and the challenges of the new regulatory environment will follow on Monday, April 29. The evening features a special reception and gala dinner at the beautiful and charming Bode Museum on Museum Island where Juergen Fitschen, Co-Chairman of the Management Board of Deutsche Bank AG, will deliver the keynote address. Tuesday’s program includes a discussion on euro area sovereign debt crisis resolution and prospects for further integration, and the conference will conclude with a tour and luncheon at the extraordinary and historic Reichstag building.

This meeting is by invitation only. For more information, please contact Mr. Dennis Ferenzy (e-mail: dferenzy@iif.com; Tel: +1.202.857.3643).
