Country-Specific Corporate Governance Reports
A key part of the EAG's work is to provide country-specific assessments of corporate governance. To date, the EAG has set up Task Forces for 16 emerging market countries, and has published 16 country reports, 1 comparative report and 2 update assessments. These reports provide a big picture view of the environment in emerging market countries, and are relevant to:

The EAG's perspective benefits from experience in the field and from the in-country meeting that EAG Task Forces conduct with a cross-section of people involved in capital markets and corporate governance, such as:

Each country-specific report is informed by the methodology of the IIF Code, (brief description of code).
A note on our Task Force report update schedule
Since the its inception, the EAG has seen progress toward compliance with the IIF Code in many countries. Recognizing changing environments for corporate governance, the EAG is working on a schedule of updating country assessments every 2 years.
