PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

PDP: About PDP

PDPs are an initiative of the IIF aimed at responding to the training needs of, though not exclusively to, emerging market members. In delivering its training programs, the IIF leverages on the wealth of expertise available within the IIF membership in order to facilitate knowledge transfer, dissemination of best practices, cross-fertilization, and networking among its member institutions.

PDPs are designed to provide participants a unique opportunity to (i) be exposed to cuttingedge developments and techniques practiced by its leading members; (ii) hear directly from field experts and top executives in major financial institutions; and (iii) have a face-to-face dialogue on the relevant issues with the most informed experts and executives in the field.

PDPs are fee-based training programs delivered by a strong blend of practitioners and world-renowned professors. They take place in key financial centers around the world to ensure that background knowledge is always reinforced by field visits to leading financial institutions with strong expertise in the topic at hand. IIF Professional Development Programs offer two types of programs: regular programs and tailored programs.

The key is interactivity. Direct interaction between members and teaching professionals greatly benefit our participants. The small classroom size allows participants to work individually with the instructor and develop a trusting relationship. Participants are also given the opportunity to interact with instructors through the use of cutting edge technology. In short, members benefit from the interactive learning environment and the wealth of knowledge shared with colleagues.
