Matt Borys

Matt joined Atlas Corp. (NYSE: ATCO) in 2018 and is currently Treasurer & Head of Capital Markets of the company. Atlas is a publicly listed holding company with two operating companies: Seaspan, the largest containership owner and operator globally, and APR Energy, a provider of fast-track power solutions. Matt has held various senior leadership roles within Atlas during his tenure, focused on modernizing and building out functions supporting the capital structure and investment functions including Treasury, Capital Markets, Investor Relations, and M&A. During his tenure at Atlas, Matt has concluded over $9 billion in containership transactions, the formation of Atlas and acquisition of APR Energy as Atlas’ energy platform, and has raised over $10 billion of capital from public and private markets. Prior to joining Atlas, Matt held roles in both Investment Banking and Corporate Banking with Desjardins Capital Markets focused on infrastructure, industrials, real estate, and project finance, and in Equity Research with Raymond James, covering infrastructure & industrials.
