IIF Comments on FATF Proliferation Finance Risk Consultation 

The IIF has provided comments to the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) on their public consultation on guidance to changes in the FATF standards for proliferation financing risk and sanctions violations. The comments outline how the final guidance would benefit from greater clarity to ensure the mitigation in duplication of efforts across money laundering, terrorist financing and proliferation financing controls and how greater cooperation between the public sector and private sector on information sharing would improve overall outcomes in tackling proliferation financing risk.
