On the occasion of the IIF Annual Membership Meeting and IIF Asia-Pacific CRO Forum, FRT welcomes Nomura CRO Yuji Nakata and Bank of Queensland CRO Peter Deans.

Representing banks with quite distinct business models, Yuji and Peter share their perspectives on what the digital transformation of banking means for the risk management function. They emphasize the continuing critical role of people, the importance of getting governance right over the apparent "˜chaos' of a transformative change, and the ongoing challenges in improving data quality and management.

As well as their own extensive experiences, Yuji and Peter also draw on some lessons from their peers. The IIF is extremely grateful to have Yuji and Peter as regular, prominent contributors in our half-yearly Asia-Pacific CRO Forum, where senior risk professionals exchange insights.
