Hannah Anderson

Policy Advisor

Hannah Anderson joined the IIF in 2022 as a Policy Advisor for the Digital Finance department. In this role, she covers digital assets, payment systems, data transfers, and the digital economy from policy and research perspectives. Her research interests include the global financial architecture, the increasing digitization of economics, China’s financial system, and international trade. Previously, she held roles at J.P. Morgan Asset Management in New York and Hong Kong, APEC Secretariat, Georgetown University and the Asia Society.

Education

Hannah received a Master of Science with Distinction from Georgetown University School of Foreign Service and holds a B.A. in economics, international relations, and East Asian studies from Brandeis University.
