Berrin Mahmutoğlu

Berrin Mahmutoğlu graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Economics and started working as an Asst. Financial Analysis Specialist at T. Emlak Bank in 1996. She worked at “Körfezbank” and "Bank Pozitif Credit and Development Bank" as Corporate Marketing Manager, respectively. Berrin Mahmutoğlu, has been a part of Ziraat Bank since 2013 which is the establisment date of Project Finance department and has served as the Head of Project Finance since 2017. She is an experienced leader in project finance, sustainability and restructuring, proficient in managing financing for mega projects on behalf of Ziraat Bank contributing significantly to Türkiye's sustainable development and working for sustainable financial solutions for projects. In 2022, a sustainability unit was established within the Project Finance Department to coordinateZiraat Bank's sustainability initiatives and drive value creation in environmental, social and governance areas. Berrin Mahmutoğlu has held esteemed roles as a Board Member of Ziraat Bank Montenegro AD and Ziraat Bank Moscow, both subsidiaries of Ziraat Bank, and she has been serving as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ziraat VCIT (Venture Capital Investment Trust) since the year 2022.
