Trang Nguyen

Trang Nguyen is a Managing Director at BNP Paribas, where she joined last year as Global Head of Emerging Market Credit Strategy. Trang is responsible for spearheading the strategy effort for the global EM credit franchise, having relocated to London. Prior to this, she spent 15 years at JPMorgan in New York in various EM roles, most recently as Head of EM Sovereign Credit Strategy. Trang has extensive experience analysing EM markets and publishing sell-side research, covering top-down market views, quantitative and relative value strategies, as well as special situations and restructurings across 80 EM sovereigns globally. She frequently participates in industry forums and conferences and has been closely involved in discussions around the international financial architecture for debt restructurings, particularly from an ESG angle. She is a member of the Bretton Woods Committee.
