We were delighted to present and discuss the 13th Annual EY/IIF Global Bank Risk Management Survey - “Managing through Persistent Volatility: the Evolving Role of the CRO and the Need for Organizational Agility” on TuesdayFebruary 13.

This report highlights the findings of our annual global survey of bank chief risk officers (CROs), which EY and the IIF were pleased to have conducted for the 13th consecutive year. As with past studies, the 2023 results present CROs views on the most urgent issues facing their organizations, and those that they expect will take on more importance in the next three to five years.

This event featured a discussion of current bank risk management practices and priorities going forward, including in the areas of cybersecurity, climate risk, the digital transformation, geopolitical risk, and the war for talent.
