After a successful virtual event in 2021, the IIF was pleased to partner again with Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS) for Financial Services and the Cloud: A Summit with Regulators and Financial Institutions, which was held this year as an in-person event on 17th–18th November 2022 in Bangkok, Thailand.

The Summit was an annual private forum to facilitate discussion with the goal of advancing the future of financial services, while appropriately managing risks, including through the use of the cloud. It attracted regulators, financial institutions and academics from the Asia-Pacific region and globally. The Summit was an invitation-only closed-door event conducted under the Chatham House Rule.

This year’s Summit was informed by a report by the IIF addressing decentralized finance and Web 3.0, to be released in the lead-up to the Summit.

The two-day in-person event took place at the Bank of Thailand Learning Center and features an evening reception at the Somdej Residence, Bangkhunprom Palace.

The two-day in-person event enabled you to:
+ Network and reconnect face-to-face with industry peers, academics and regulators from across Asia-Pacific and globally.
+ Interact and engage with our leading influential speakers on critical topics that will shape the future of finance, including decentralized finance, Web 3.0 and payments.
+ Strengthen and create new relationships through in-person networking during coffee breaks, lunches, and an evening reception at The Somdej Residence, Bangkhunprom Palace.
