The IIF hosted an interactive dialogue on the technology and innovation topics driving the future of finance and the digital economy on Monday, May 22. This session was held on the eve of the 2023 IIF European Summit and considered the European digital agenda in a global context. Europe is pushing forward a comprehensive framework for regulation of the digital economy and the use of new technologies in financial services including DORA, MiCA, the AI Act, eIDAS, PSD3 - open banking, cloud, and competition initiatives.

The forum highlighted leading voices and diverse perspectives from across the financial services ecosystem as we explore AI governance, payments innovation, data ecosystem dynamics, new partnerships, and the product and service mix for the future of finance.
