We are pleased to have hosted another installment of our Global Macro Call on June 7. This event was hosted by Robin Brooks, IIF Managing Director & Chief Economist, and was joined by Helima Croft, Managing Director and Head of Global Commodity Strategy and Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Research at RBC Capital Markets, Mila Skulkina, lead Portfolio Manager for Lord Abbett's emerging markets strategies, Mark Patrick, Head of the Macro & Country Risk Team within TIAA Financial Risk and Capital Management, and Clay Lowery, Executive Vice President for Research and Policy at the IIF.

This session focused on global geopolitics and the emergence of an increasingly multipolar world and took place in the aftermath of the June OPEC+ policy meeting. Speakers shared their insights on how changing geopolitical dynamics are impacting global markets, the economy, and investment strategies. The discussion also included the implications of China's rise, the future of US foreign policy, efficiency of economic sanctions and the outlook for global energy markets.
