We are delighted to have hosted this event on Wednesday, April 26 for a discussion of the Turkish elections.

Ugras Ulku, Head of EM Europe Research at the IIF, was joined by Ragip Soylu, Turkey Bureau Chief of the Middle East Eye, Blaise Antin, Managing Director and Head of Sovereign Research at TCW, and Turgut Kisinbay, Chief U.S. / Turkey Economist at Invesco.

During the session, the expert panel discussed various scenarios for the Turkish elections scheduled for May 14, Turkey’s economy and markets, as well as the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead. Speakers shared their insights on topics such as the likely outcomes from the May 14 parliamentary and presidential elections and implications for the direction of policies and re-pricing of Turkish assets after the elections.

This "off-the-record" session was interactive and included Q&A from the audience. If you have any questions, please contact [email protected].
