The last Global Macro Call of the year reviewed our forecasts over the course of 2022. We discussed where our forecasts were right and wrong along with the reasons behind our forecast misses. We also reviewed our outlook for 2023, where – adjusting for base effects – we anticipated global growth as weak as in 2009, with weakness radiating out from Russia and Ukraine to the rest of Europe. The call featured Robin Brooks, Managing Director and Chief Economist, as well as Sergi Lanau and Elina Ribakova, who are both Deputy Chief Economists.

The call concluded with Q&A from the audience.
