Anke is a Partner in McKinsey & Company’s Sydney Office. She is leading McKinsey’s Australia/New Zealand Risk & Resilience Practice and global service lines of non-financial risk and market risk. She moved to Australia in 2018 following the Royal Commission into Financial Services to serve clients with her 15 years of risk expertise from London, Europe and the U.S. Her work is focused on risk management at financial institutions and corporates globally. She has worked extensively on risk transformation, non-financial risk, capital management and stress testing, climate risk, market risk, and regulation and compliance (including Basel III). In 2022, Anke co-authored an article based on her experience in the Australian context titled ‘Risk transformations – the heart, the art, and the science.’ Anke holds a PhD in mathematics and a diploma in mathematics and physics from the University of Marburg, Germany.
