Kawtar Ed-Dahmani

Kawtar Ed-Dahmani is a member of Barings’ Emerging Markets Debt Group and a sovereign analyst for the Emerging Markets Sovereign Debt Team. Kawtar has worked in the industry since 2009. Prior to joining the firm in 2014, Kawtar completed a master’s degree from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, where she specialized in International Development. Prior to Harvard, she worked in Lazard’s Government Advisory Group, advising governments, central banks and government-owned companies on sovereign debt restructurings, sovereign financing, and banking sector reforms. Her country coverage included Ecuador, Kazakhstan, and several European and West African countries. Kawtar holds a master’s degree from HEC Paris and Ecole Polytechnique in France.
