Kristine Braden

Kristine is Citi’s Europe Cluster Head responsible for leading the firm’s businesses across 42 countries and CEO and Executive Director on the Board of Citibank Europe Plc (CEP), Citi’s bank chain legal vehicle headquartered in Dublin, Ireland. Kristine also serves as Vice Chair of the Supervisory Board of Bank Handlowy, Citi’s Polish bank, and as a Director of the Swiss AmCham Board. Kristine has enjoyed a 25-year career with Citi, working in the US, Europe, Asia and Latin America. Alongside her Europe Cluster role, she was most recently CEO of Citigroup Global Markets Europe AG (CGME), Citi’s European investment firm based in Frankfurt. From 2018 to 2020, she was Chief of Staff to Citi CEO Mike Corbat in New York. She also served as Citi Country Officer and Corporate and Investment Banking Head for Switzerland, Monaco and Liechtenstein for three years prior. She was based in London from 2012 to 2015 as Europe Head of Citi’s Global Subsidiaries Group after spending 14 years in Asia in various capacities in Hong Kong and Manila. Kristine started her career with Citi as a Global Emerging Market Management Associate with postings in the Dominican Republic, Hong Kong, the Philippines and Egypt. She currently serves as the Families Matter Affinity Co-Lead at Citi.
