As Westpac’s Chief Sustainability Officer, Siobhan leads the Group’s sustainability strategy, with a particular focus on climate change, human rights and the emerging area of natural capital. Having worked in corporate sustainability roles in finance and property for close to 20 years, Siobhan is passionate about driving positive social and environmental impact and the integration of ESG – to help create long-term value. Siobhan contributes through a wide range of governance roles, including as board member of the Greater Sydney Parklands, co-chair United Nations Environment Programme Finance Initiative’s (UNEP FI) Banking Board, member advisory board for the NSW Infrastructure Strategy and former deputy chair of the Green Building Council of Australia. In 2018 she was recognized as a recipient of the AFR 100 Women of Influence (Board and Management Category) and in 2021 her team received a CEO (Leading Change) Award in 2021 for the Safer Children, Safer Communities program – a human rights remedy initiative.
