Chris Michalski

Chris Michalski has led a cross functional team in the implementation of the new insurance contract (IFRS 17) and finance instrument (IFRS 9) accounting standards since 2017 for Zurich North America’s (“ZNA”) P&C and Life operations. Chris also leads the technical accounting policy team and ZNA’s sustainability reporting efforts for North America.
Chris joined ZNA in November 2011, prior to which he was a Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers performing assurance services for insurance clients for 10 years.
Chris holds a bachelors in accounting from Illinois State University, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
