Get career-ready! Take your classroom experience to the next level with an internship at the Institute of International Finance (IIF). Internships provide real-life, hands-on experience by offering students the opportunity to hone their professional skills with practice. Partnered with an IIF staff member, interns will collaborate on topics and themes of importance to the global financial services industry. Tasks may include undertaking research or providing other support on issues related to the economic outlook for key emerging market countries, international regulatory issues, sustainable finance, digital finance, among other things. Internships generally follow the academic semester (Fall, Spring, and Summer), although sometimes last longer. IIF's internship program is geared more towards graduate students due to the nature of the work, but we do occasionally accept undergraduate students.
Qualified candidates will be required to work on projects independently. Therefore, candidates must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, research skills, and be proficient with Microsoft Office 365 Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Wait there is more….
