Valentin Carter is the IIF’s Senior Regional Manager whose portfolio contains Asia and the Americas. Valentin has been with the IIF since 2012 with stints in the CEO’s office and media department before finding his home in the global membership department. As a member of the global membership team, Valentin is tasked with ensuring IIF members are actively engaged in all of the IIF’s main workstreams, including sustainable and digital finance, regulatory and policy advocacy, and research and data.
Valentin was born in Germany and studied abroad for a year in Leipzig, Germany and Tokyo, Japan.
Education
Valentin graduated American University with a major in international relations (concentration in East Asia) and a minor in Japanese language. He recently earned a Master’s Certificate in Sustainability from Harvard’s Extension School.
