Senior Program Assistant, Global Membership

Natalie Gonzalez is a Senior Program Assistant in the Global Membership Department where she focuses on member engagement with North American and Latin American firms.

Natalie brings client relationship and engagement experience to the IIF. Prior to joining the IIF, Natalie was a Network Engagement Intern at the Global Business School Network (GBSN), a nonprofit organization focused on improving access to quality and local management education globally. During her time at GBSN, Natalie analyzed data on member engagement and prepared for their Annual Conference.

Natalie also brings a global perspective with internship experience in both Peru and Uruguay. During her internship in Peru with MOCHE Inc., she collaborated with local community members on sustainable development projects. During her time in Uruguay, Natalie interned at Plan Ceibal – a Uruguayan initiative that works to strengthen the education system by implementing technology into the classroom. As an intern, Natalie collaborated with colleagues to build lesson materials and foster engagement with students and teachers. Natalie spent a great deal of her undergraduate studies focusing on Latin America, specifically on inequality, sustainable development, and human rights, and she did a semester abroad in São Paulo, Brazil.

Education

Natalie earned a B.A. in international studies from American University with a minor in international business. She graduated summa cum laude. She also spent a semester in Brazil studying economics, development, and inequality at Brazil’s Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo.
