Valentina Bonifacio is a Senior Research Analyst in the Economic Research Department. She supports the economic research work, focusing on Latin America and the Caribbean. Valentina's primary responsibilities include overseeing databases and performing macroeconomic analysis for several IIF publications. Her research interests include inflation dynamics. Before joining the IIF in January 2024, Valentina worked as a Research Analyst for the International Monetary Fund and a Consultant for the World Bank Group.

Valentina holds a Master of Economics and a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the National University of La Plata in Argentina.
