Ahead of the IIF Annual Membership Meeting in Washington DC on October 16-19, Andres Portilla, Brad Carr, Conan French and Dylan Riddle foreshadow some the program’s highlights.

This year’s Annual Membership Meeting features a much-expanded program on digital finance topics, including 9 discussion panels and 2 roundtables, as well as a special briefing on the Bank of England’s Future of Finance report. This includes the Data Town Hall on October 17, which will discuss 4 key aspects of the topical agenda in data policy.

Other notable sessions include the Future of Money, Competition in the Age of Digital Platforms, Quantum Computing and Machine Learning, and will feature perspectives from not only leading IIF members, but also the likes of the Monetary Authority of Singapore, the Bank of Canada, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the Open Data Institute, Google, Rigetti Computing and Data Robot.

Beyond the Digital Agenda, Dylan and Andres each highlight notable themes to the  AMM program, most notably the ever-increasing focus on Sustainability and combatting Financial Crime. The conference will include the launch of the new IIF-Deloitte white paper on The Global Framework for Fighting Financial Crime.
