We are pleased to report that the Voluntary Principles for Debt Transparency now have a Repository for data disclosures; our thanks to the OECD for serving as Reporting Host, and to the UK Government as well as the many private sector funders who have supported the Repository.  This Implementation Note provides practical guidance for the comprehensive and rapid operationalization of the IIF Voluntary Principles for Debt Transparency. To facilitate effective data collection, the note provides template language to introduce carve-outs from confidentiality clauses to enable the submission of information to the OECD as Reporting Host. The note also include a template letter that banks will be able to send to sovereign clients to inform them about the participation to the initiative and to highlight confidentiality carve-outs.
