On December 14, the IIF responded to the International Association of Insurance Supervisors consultation on operational resilience. We highlighted that operational resilience is an outcome, rather than a specific process, and encouraged a flexible approach that leverages group-wide approaches. Our response also highlighted some of the risks that insurers face in developing a comprehensive approach to operational resilience, including third party vendor concentration and data localization risks.
