This briefing note summarizes the February 2024 IIF Digital Asset Forum, respecting that the forum is conducted under the Chatham House Rule and does not represent the official position of the IIF or its membership. This session discussed conceptual frameworks for digital asset platforms, highlighting the critical need for interoperability to be considered in the design of potential frameworks. Participants discussed solutions to combat fragmentation, the appropriate prioritization of standardization for digital asset infrastructure, and how these considerations will shape the next steps in exploration of tokenized assets. The IIF convenes the Digital Asset Forum with our knowledge partner, the Oliver Wyman Forum.
